At Staffpoint we know the importance of finding the right chef for you, and we can tailor a solution to suit your requirements - be it a permanent position, interim cover by a relief chef or relief chefs, temporary cover, menu or design consultancy, deep cleaning or kitchen porters.

We currently supply a wide range of restaurants, pubs, hotels and conference centres all over the country and have been doing so for the last 12 years. We’ve recently noticed how much difference there is between what agencies charge for their temp staff and so thought we’d offer you the chance to tell us what you want to pay and how you want to pay it. The most popular way is an hourly charge for a chef who is on our books, saving you the hassle of employing someone directly, but we can look at daily charges, weekly charges, temp to perm rates and anything in between, which leaves you to concentrate on the core of the problem; making sure that your business has seamless cover and your clients are happy.

Some other things we thought you should know about us:

  • We reference check our staff before they go to you. If they don’t check out, they don’t go to work.
  • Our full time chef consultant has spent 15 years working in a variety of kitchens and still goes out on contracts to keep his eye in and understand business needs. We get kitchens.
  • You can call us on Saturdays and Sundays, or evenings. The phone is always on.
  • We take the time to understand your business and send you the right staff. If you want a head chef who has held Rosettes or Stars, then that’s what we send. If you need a commis or line chef to cook your chips, then that’s what we send.


We supply hotels, restaurants, outside caterers, schools, hospitals and care homes; we keep a database of CRB cleared chefs and can run enhanced CRB (Criminal Record Bureau) Checks if required.
