My client is looking for an experienced Reservations Supervisor/Manager to be fully responsible for the all reservations activity within the hotel.
Day to day your role will require you to:
Handle all incoming enquiries for Groups, Reservations and Meetings/Events to hotel standard.
Work with Management System(Opera) by inputting all enquiries to hotel standards.
Quote for Groups as per the demand calendar. Summer / Winter rates, mobility sheets rooming lists 28 days prior, release rooms in line with contract .
Convert incoming enquiries with strong selling skills.
Create contracts to company standard.
Ensure postings for the day are all correct and billing instructions are correct and actioned.
Process all transactions of reservations, cross check bookings details with in house system and 3rd party websites.
Make charges on PDQ for AP and ensure shift balance at the end of the day. Non arrival/Cancellation charges/block release
Provide information on hotel products and services, utilising opportunities where possible to maximise revenue.
Upsell where possible to maximise hotel revenue.
Bi-weekly competitor check to be done STR
You will be required to attend daily and weekly meetings to review current rate strategy as well as confidently communicate the following weeks business, ensuring all relevant information is passed to the correct departments. In addition to this, you will complete reports, review P&L and budgets.
Hours of work Monday - Friday 9am-5pm.
